Chapter 18 - The Committee on Advancement

18.1    The Committee on Advancement shall have oversight of the University’s relationships with alumni.  It shall also have oversight of all programs designed to enlist financial support for the University from alumni, parents, friends of the University, foundations, corporations, and other non-governmental entities.  

18.2    The Committee may include non-voting members who are not Trustees but who play significant volunteer roles in seeking financial support for the University.  These members shall be elected to the Committee by the Board upon nomination by the Committee on Board Development.  The President of the Alumni Association shall be an ex officio non-voting member of the Committee, as shall be the Chair of the National Annual Giving Committee.
